Councilors Nichole Rogers and Tammy Fiebelkorn are sponsoring a resolution that would rename Crick Ave., near Mesa Del Sol to Herb Denish Ave. Herb Denish, former Lieutenant Governor Dianne Denish’s husband, is known for his work on projects like the Cottonwood Mall, Albuquerque Uptown and Mesa Del Sol. Councilors say it’s important to recognize Mr. Denish for is services to the city. Herb Denish died in 2022 after getting into a car accident.
