The Johnny Puff: Secret Mission trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of the Puffins animated series has been released, starring Johnny Depp as he reprises the role of the titular Artic bird. The film is expected to make its debut in theaters and on VOD, starting on July 12, 2024.

What happens in the Johnny Puff: Secret Mission trailer?
The trailer highlights the next adventure of Johnny and his friends which involves going up against a villainous walrus. He first voiced the character in animated spin-off series to 2019’s Arctic Dogs movie. Depp is no stranger to the animated genre, after lending his voice in movies like Corpse Bride, Rango, and Sherlock Gnomes.
“Johnny Depp soars to new heights of adventure with Johnny Puff! When the dastardly Otto von Walrus threatens to plunge the world into icy chaos, it’s up to Johnny Puff (Depp) and his feathered friends to put a stop to his frosty plans,” reads the synopsis.
The film is written and directed by Néstor F. Dennis. In addition to Depp, Drew Crosby will also be lending his voice to the animated movie. It is executive produced by Monika Bacardi and Andrea Iervolino, with Denis and Cristóbal Rodríguez producing.
