Man accused of downtown Albuquerque attacks arrested in Missouri

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The United States Marshal’s Service says a man accused of an attack in downtown Albuquerque has been taken into custody in Missouri. According to the Albuquerque Police Department, 43-year-old Brian Eisenbeis harassed and attacked a female runner last month near Silver and 12th Street.

Police say he also attacked two men in their 80s as they were going to a thrift store near Central and 14th. APD says Eisenbeis used homophobic slurs toward the men, who both identify as gay and bisexual, before attacking them. U.S. Marshals say Eisenbeis is booked into a local St. Louis jail pending extradition to New Mexico.
