Nick Jonas is getting cool for summer. The 31-year-old Jonas Brothers singer/guitarist showed off his fresh buzz cut in a series of Instagram pics on Thursday (May 16) that also included an adorable snap of his two-year-old daughter with wife Priyanka Copra, Malti Marie.
The first slide in the series was a selfie of a camo shirt-wearing Jonas staring into a mirror with his curly hair piled on top of his head, followed by a second one in which someone is running a clipper through his hair.
In the third slide a newly shorn Jonas looks into camera with Malti balanced on his hip, eliciting a flood of “awww” comments about the couple’s darling tot. The rest of the images include a short video of Jonas crushing a drive on the golf course and a final shot of his hand wrapped around a pint of Guinness.
Earlier in the week, Jonas posted a tribute to Chopra on Mother’s Day via a video of the actress doing squats while holding Malti on her shoulders. “I am so lucky to have been raised by such an incredible mother… and to now be married to the most amazing mom ever,” Jonas wrote. “You are so full of love and thoughtfulness with our daughter @priyankachopra you are such an inspiration in every way. And special shout out to the world’s greatest mother in law. So blessed. MM and I love the three of you so much.”
That post also included an image of Jonas with Malti, Chopra and her mother, as well as the gang with his mother.
Nick recently had to reschedule several Jonas Brothers The Tour dates after telling fans he’d caught the flu. He told ticket holders that the shows, which were scheduled for early May, will now take place on Aug. 21 and 22 in Mexico City and Aug. 24 and 25 in Monterrey.
