Orphan Black: Echoes Trailer Shows Krysten Ritter Meeting Her Younger Clone

AMC+ has dropped a brand new Orphan Black: Echoes trailer for its upcoming sci-fi thriller led by Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter.

The video features Ritter’s character who begins to question her life and identity, after discovering that someone wants to kill her. In her search for answers, she unexpectedly meets the teenaged version of herself. The series premieres on June 23, 2024 on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America.

“Set in the near future, the spin-off takes a deep dive into the exploration of the scientific manipulation of human existence,” reads the synopsis. “It follows a group of women as they weave their way into each other’s lives and embark on a thrilling journey, unraveling the mystery of their identity and uncovering a wrenching story of love and betrayal.”

Who’s the cast of Orphan Black: Echoes?

Orphan Black: Echoes stars Ritter as Lucy, a woman with an unimaginable origin story; Keeley Hawes as perceptive but sensitive scientist who finds herself at odds with her own moral code; Amanda Fix as Jules, a salty teen trying to find herself; Avan Jogia as Lucy’s boyfriend Jack, a soft-spoken former army medic and single father; Rya Kihlstedt as brilliant neuroscientist Eleanor; James Hiroyuki Liao (Barry) as self-made billionaire Darros; and Reed Diamond (Better Call Saul) as head of security Tom.

The 10-episode series is created, written, and executive produced by showrunner Anna Fishko (Pieces of Her, The Society). It is directed and executive produced by the original series’ co-creator John Fawcett. Executive producers are David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, Nick Nantell, Kerry Appleyard, and Katie O’Connell Marsh.
