Silicon Valley startup Rippling enters Romania

US human resource management software startup Rippling, valued at $13.5 billion after raising $200 million in a funding round led by investment firm Coatue in April, has entered Romania.

Rippling, a Silicon Valley startup valued at 13.5 billion dollars, is coming to Romania Rippling provides a workforce management platform that combines human resources, information technology and finance. Aimed at companies with fewer than 2,000 employees, the startup has around 15,000 customers, including Taskrabbit and Five Guys.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the company has expanded globally with 2,800 employees in offices in the US, India, Ireland, UK and Australia.

Following the latest round of funding, Rippling’s valuation jumped 20% from $11.25 billion in March 2023, when it raised $500 million in just 12 hours.
The Rippling platform includes products for HR, finance and IT and is aimed at companies in retail, technology, healthcare, restaurants, marketing, non-profit, professional services, manufacturing, financial services.
