Studio City crash of Metro bus injures 7

A Metro bus with passengers aboard struck a pole early Friday morning in Studio City, injuring at least seven people.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Friday on the 3900 block of Lankershim Boulevard near Universal Studios Hollywood.

Six passengers were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to Metro, the bus driver was treated at the scene and released.

The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the cause of the crash.
