UCLA will resume “regular operations” on Monday, May 6, after classes had been moved online Thursday and Friday on a campus that had shifted to limited operations, according to a campus update on Sunday.
While officials encouraged faculty to return to in-person classes, they did give them the option continue courses online until May 10.
They noted that the law school, which is on a semester system, will have its exams as regularly scheduled. And UCLA Extension will also resume in person.
Employees will also resume in-person work.
Officials did say the Royce Quad — a major foot traffic intersection point between Royce Hall and Powell Library — remained an area people should avoid, given repairs to the area.The Royce Hall front exterior had been tagged with graffiti during the protests.
Officials added that a law enforcement presence will be stepped up throughout the campus in an effort to promote safety.
