Two-time Emmy-nominated star Kel Mitchell has come out to launch serious allegations against his ex-wife, Tyisha Mitchell, related to their marriage. As per the Nickelodeon star, Tyisha’s contentious choices during the course of their relationship were majorly responsible for their separation.

Who is Tyisha Mitchell?
Tyisha Mitchell, or Tyisha Hampton, as was her maiden name, is a former actress who is majorly known for her association with Kel Mitchell. Born in 1978, she received her first break in the entertainment industry with a minor role in the 1997 comedy series City Guys. The American actress has a few more acting credits under her belt, appearing in productions like Cousin Skeeter, Kenan & Kel, and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
Tyisha first met Kel Mitchell in 1996 and went on to marry him in a private ceremony in 1999. She soon transitioned into the field of writing and producing, working on a project titled Ganked with her then-husband. Since her divorce from Kel in 2005, the former actress has been mostly absent from the industry.
What does Kel Mitchell accuse his ex-wife of doing?
In his recent appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Kel Mitchell revealed to host Shannon Sharpe that Tyisha had been an unfaithful wife during their relationship. He stated that his ex-wife had gotten pregnant with several men despite still being married to him. As per Kel, the duo decided to abort the first child conceived by Tyisha, only for her to get pregnant again.
The renowned comedian further stated that he came to know of Tyisha’s infidelity when she began expecting, despite the two having not been intimate for a long while. He even claimed to have caught her in the act after discovering her in a hotel with a man who used to visit their house. The 45-year-old actor said that he tried to salvage their marriage for their children but had to give up in 2005 after another pregnancy and an eventual miscarriage.
The divorced couple have two children together, with Kel fathering another two with his second wife, Asia Lee.
