ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque authorities said there was a crash Saturday evening. It killed one person, police stated.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department (APD), a crash involving a motorcycle and other vehicle took place near 86th Street SW and Sedge Creek Road SW just before 6:30 p.m.
APD said a Nissan sedan was stopped at Sedge Creek Road, facing east at a stop sign, before turning left to go north on 86th Street. A Harley Davidson, heading south on 86th Street, hit the sedan’s driver-side rear door.
The motorcyclist died, and the sedan driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
APD is investigating the crash.
