ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department is searching for a third suspect charged with the murder of a woman during an auto burglary. Police say 48-year-old David Haro is involved with the murder of the woman on March 15.
According to APD, Joshua Dominguez and Destiny Marquez were inside their apartment when they heard a car alarm go off. When they looked outside, they saw a woman who police say appeared to be taking something from Dominguez’s vehicle.
The two confronted the woman who denied taking anything. Dominguez and Marquez chased down the woman and police now believe Haro was involved too. Police say Marquez claimed the woman stabbed Dominguez, but surveillance video shows a Honda CRV pulled up next to the woman, someone chasing her, and her being pushed down by the person who punched her. Police say the woman was kicked, stabbed multiple times, and run over at least twice.
Detectives say they watched Marquez and Dominguez move items from the CRV into another vehicle at another apartment complex. Marquez and Dominguez were arrested and charged with murder. Haro, who is Marquez’s father, is also charged with murder.
