ABC Medicover Holdings Invests €11 Million in Romanian Firms

ABC Medicover Holdings from the Netherlands increases the share capital of Medicover Hospitals by 48 million lei, by over 8 million lei the capital of Medicover SRL and by over 1.8 million lei the capital of Imocover, according to decisions of the associate, quoted by Economica.net. The money will be invested in advanced technological equipment, the consolidation of work points in the country and the expansion of the activity, Medicover officials told Economica.net.

On February 9, ABC Medicover Holdings from the Netherlands decided to increase the share capital of Medicover Hospitals by 48 million lei. Following this operation, the capital of Medicover Hospitals reaches 120.8 million lei, according to a decision of the company, obtained by Economica.net.

Medicover clinics receive over 8 million lei from the parent company. On February 7, Medicover SRL, the company that operates Medicover clinics in the country, receives a capital infusion of over 8 million lei. After this operation, Medicover SRL’s capital exceeds 80 million lei, according to the decision of the sole associate.

The money will be invested in medical equipment and in the expansion of the group on the local market.
