ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albertsons Market is helping out families in need by donating thousands of pounds of apples to several storehouses across New Mexico and Texas. Albertsons and Market Street donated 3,240 pounds of apples to Storehouse New Mexico as part of the Take A Bite Out of Hunger program.
Overall, the grocer has donated more than 50,000 pounds of apples across the two states this year. This is the 14th year of the event.
