Albuquerque man held behind bars on multiple charges

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Isidro Gallegos, accused in a string of armed robberies between February and March, will be held behind bars until trial.


Man arrested for alleged DWI rollover crash that left 2 dead in west Albuquerque

The charges Gallegos faces have been separated into two cases in front of two judges. The first case involves robbers committed between February 5 and March 14. Gallegos will be in front of Judge Brett Loveless for a pretrial detention hearing on those charges. The second case involves multiple incidents that happened on March 15. Gallegos pleaded not guilty to 12 charges in the second case. Judge Clara Moran granted the state’s motion for a pretrial detention.

Brooke Hefty, was arrested alongside Gallegos and is accused of helping him in several of the crimes. Hefty pleaded not guilty to her charges. Judge Stanley Whitaker granted to state’s motion and Hefty will be held behind bars until trial. More than a decade ago Hefty pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter for shooting and killing her boyfriend.
