ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque therapist is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage patient. According to a criminal complaint, 33-year-old Krishan Vemulapalli had seen the patient for four years but began paying “physical attention” to her last year.

Investigators say she learned about sexual assault and harassment in a health class and started recording the encounters with Vemulapalli on her Apple Watch. He is now charged with three counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and witness intimidation.
