ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque woman has taken a plea deal for her role in the death of a good samaritan in February 2023. Police say Eric Ford punched a female clerk and then shot and killed 24-year-old Michael Urioste when he tried to intervene. Police say Ford’s wife, Roslynn Lee, got involved after she struck Urisote with her cane and encouraged Ford to fire at a second bystander.
In court on Tuesday, Lee pled guilty to aggravated battery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She faces a maximum of six years in prison.
After accepting the plea, Lee was taken into custody on an unrelated warrant. That case is related to two assault charges back in 2022.
