US citizen Charles Douglas Anderson owns 77% of the Romanian Allied International Defense company after he bought the stakes held in the company by Romanian associates Ionel Rusen, Aurel Cazacu, Marian Neagu, according to a decision of the company, quoted by Economica.net. The company that will produce ammunition wants to buy the shares held by George Becali in the Drăgăşani Mechanical Plant. In order to be perfected, the transaction must be approved by the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments (CEISD), which is under the Government’s authority. Government officials confirmed that CEISD is currently analyzing the acquisition of the Drăgăşani Mechanical Plant by the Romanian Allied International Defense company.
Before the transaction, Romanian Allied International was owned by Charles Douglas Anderson and Ionel Rusen, each with 29% of the company’s capital, by the American company Axios Family Office LLC – with 23% of the company, by Aurel Cazacu associates – with 10% of the company and Marian Neagu who had 9% of the company’s capital. On December 28, 2023, the associates of the firm Marian Neagu, Aurel Cazacu, Ionel Rusen transferred their shares held in the firm to the associate Charles Douglas Anderson.
Charles Douglas Anderson is the founder and CEO of Wall Street Capital Partners. Anderson served in the United States Marine Corps, has an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and post-graduate studies in Finance from Harvard.
Aurel Cazacu, who retired from the Romanian Allied International Defense company, is one of the administrators of the Drăgăşani Mechanical Plant.
The acquisition by the Romanian Allied International Defense company of the shares held by George Becali in the Drăgăşani Mechanical Plant is in the process of being approved by the Commission for the Examination of Foreign Direct Investments, Government in Bucharest informed.
