Anupama Parameswaran’s upcoming film, Bison, starring Dhruv Vikram, has generated significant buzz among the audience since its first look was unveiled. Adding to the excitement, recent reports have confirmed that an OTT giant has secured its streaming rights.
The recently unveiled first look features Dhruv Vikram in a crouched start posture, with a strong bull behind him. This depiction promises an intense and fierce performance in the upcoming drama. The film, directed by Mari Selvaraj, boasts a stellar cast including Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha, Hari Krishnan, Kalaiyarasan, and others. Moreover, makers will produce Bison under the joint banner of Applause Entertainment and Neelam Productions.
The film is supported by a talented crew, including Nivas K Prasanna for music composition and Ezhil Arasu K for cinematography. Sakthikumar will edit, while Kumar Gangappan will handle the art direction. Although the makers have already begun shooting, further details about the film are expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
Bison secures digital streaming rights
Recent reports from 123telugu confirmed that Netflix has secured Bison’s digital streaming rights at a substantial price. However, reports have not confirmed any tentative OTT release date yet. While the makers have just begun shooting, indicating that audiences will have to wait longer for its OTT release.
Earlier reports suggested that the movie was based on the life of the Kabbadi player, P Ganesan. However, director Mari Selvaraj recently debunked all these rumors. He clarified, “This film will revolve around kabaddi. However, contrary to reports, it is not a biopic but a fictional one. We will shoot a 60-day schedule here, then move to Chennai for the remaining portions.”
Apart from this, Anupama Parameswaran is also gearing up for her upcoming film, Lockdown. Yesterday, its makers unveiled Anupama’s first look for the film. Directed by debutant AR Jeeva, Lockdown will be produced by Lyca Productions. However, the makers have not disclosed the rest of the cast.
