APD: Man killed in Northeast Heights shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Thursday morning in the Northeast Heights.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 1:18 a.m. about gunshots fired in the area of an apartment, located at 11811 Menaul Blvd., NE. Officers arrived and found a dead man in the area of 18701 Menaul, just east of Juan Tabo Blvd., NE.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene to investigate. Detectives are interviewing an individual who was detained for questioning.
