ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County appointed two people to their new roles as Bernalillo County Deputy Managers at Tuesday’s county commission meeting.
The county appointed Wayne W. Lindstrom as the new deputy county manager for Behavioral Health. Lindstrom previously served five years with the New Mexico Department of Human Services. “With his decades of experience and proven track record in the behavioral health field, Wayne will be instrumental in leading our efforts to enhance behavioral health services and support for out community,” County Manager Julie Morgas Baca said in a release.
Danette Townsend was appointed as the deputy county manager for the Community Services Division. Townsend has been serving as Interim Deputy Manager for the division since December of last year. Prior to that, she led the ABC Community Schools as the executive director. “With her leadership and strategic vision, Danette will play a vital role in advancing the county’s mission to foster thriving, inclcusive communities,” County manager Julie Morgas Baca said in a release.
