BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – Bernalillo County is hosting syringe and needle pickup events to help clean the community. And they’re inviting volunteers to join.

The county’s Health Equity Council is partnering with the Department of Behavioral Health Services to clean up used sharps. Over the last year, they’ve disposed of over 1,000 syringes and needles, the county says.
