The highly awaited K-drama Blood Free returns with two new episodes, 7 and 8, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 4 p.m. KST on Disney Plus. The series follows the story of BF Group CEO Yoon Ja-Yoo (Han Hyo-Joo), who dominates the genetically engineered cultured meat market. However, when opposition and protests from inside and outside the company occur, she hires soldier-turned-bodyguard Woo Chae-Woon (Ju Ji-Hoon).
The newly released trailer for Blood Free Episodes 7 and 8 teases significant development in the storyline as Yoon Ja-Yoo and Woo Chae-Woon try to find the spy who was behind the ransomware attack in BF Group’s lab and learn more about Park Sang-Min, the man potentially behind Kim Shin-Gu’s actions and death. Moreover, Chae-Woon also discovers more about the mastermind behind the Azoran bomb blast. Viewers will have to wait and see if they can catch the spy.
Blood Free episodes 7 & 8 trailer: Ju Ji-Hoon and Han Hyo-Joo potentially make new discoveries
The trailer for this week’s Blood Free episodes picks up with Chae-Woon discovering that Park Sang-Min murdered fellow bodyguard Ho-Seung. However, after Sang-Min escapes, the police think Chae-Woon is the killer and tries to arrest him. Ja-Yoo, meanwhile, states that she received a call from the police informing her of Ho-Seung’s death and Chae-Woon’s arrest.
At the police station, Ja-Yoo visits Chae-Woon, and he recalls some unusual details about his fight with the police. A police officer remains stunned after witnessing Chae-Woon’s superhuman-like strength while fighting. This is all due to the cell culture experiment that helped Chae-Woon survive after an attack that nearly claimed his life. Meanwhile, Ja-Yoo advises that they take a test after they leave the police station. However, Chae-Woon insists on finding Sang-Min.
Ja-Yoo continues her mission to break the human food chain and create a dominant species. She asks for Prime Minister Seon Woo-Jae’s support, while the latter is surprised at what she offers. Meanwhile, Chae-Woon joins hands with former President Lee Mun-Gyu to catch the culprit behind the Azoran bomb blast. As Ja-Yoo remains determined to find the spy and the traitor who worked against BF Group, new stories arise from her fellow employees, including On San, Jung Hae-Dun, and Seo-Hui. The trailer ends with Ja-Yoo potentially finding the culprit.
