Twenty-two wrestlers from Calabasas and Royal have been selected as recipients of Scholar All-American honors by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) in association with the United States Marine Corps.
The high school wrestlers recognized maintained a GPA of 3.5 or above and were nominated by their coach for the award.
“The Scholar All-America Award applauds wrestlers with exceptional academic prowess,” NWCA said in a statement released April 19.
