CEZ Group in Romania becomes EVRYO Group

Starting today, CEZ Group in Romania becomes EVRYO.

We are proud to be part of such an active industry and to contribute to its accelerated evolution towards a green future, for the benefit of all people. We have been present in Romania for 19 years and are producing green energy with the largest private generation capacities in the country. We distribute energy to a quarter of Romania, in the Oltenia region. We harness the creative power of technology, a force that is now changing the world. And we believe that beyond the infinite possibilities of technology, the most important form of energy is the energy of people. That’s why, together, the companies of EVRYO Group create energy for good. For the good of all,” stated Ondrej Safar, CEO EVRYO Group.

“The context of our current days is marked by rapid, continuous changes. Today, we ourselves are undergoing a change. Our new name reflects the reality of being a significant player in green energy production, as well as our mission to work for the benefit of all people: colleagues, communities, the entire country. We have clear sustainability objectives and a zero emissions target for 2040, as well as concrete plans to make these a reality. We stand by people, each and every one of them, and we continue all our projects, said Angelica Barbu, Chief People and Brand Officer EVRYO.

Bringing together its 6 companies: Distribuție Energie Oltenia, Ovidiu Development, Tomis Team, MW Team Invest, TMK Hydroenergy Power and EVRYO Power, EVRYO Group manages and operates the largest onshore windfarm in Romania, produces green energy through the hydroenergy system near Reșița, as well as operating the first floating photovoltaic energy system in Romania.

Moreover, pioneering in renewable energy production is complementary to having an electricity distribution system that is up to modern technological standards and supports prosumers. Through Distribuție Oltenia, EVRYO Group manages and invests in the distribution network that ensures the supply of electricity to a quarter of Romania’s territory, in the Oltenia and Muntenia regions.
