Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is the main character in the anime series Classroom of the Elite. The entire plot revolves around him as he is the protagonist. He has quite an intriguing and peculiar personality and his intellect set him apart from his peers. However, another character seems to have caught the attention of the audience.
A petite girl with serene white hair, who wears an intimidating personality and boasts intellects that put even the most brilliant student to shame. Sakayanagi Arisu, the leader of Class A, has a peculiar bond with Ayanokoji. Is it love or something completely different?
What is Sakayanagi’s relationship with Ayanokoji?

Arisu Sakayanagi is the daughter of Chairman Sakayanagi. She is first introduced to the viewers as the leader of Class-A in Classroom of the Elite. She was seen discussing the school system with the Student Council. Class A is divided into two factions: one led by Sakayanagi and another by Katsuragi. Their followers and allies often clash, resulting in internal conflicts that affect their reputations in front of other classes.
With that being said, Sakayanagi has an intimidating personality. However, considering her cold demeanor, it’s very unlikely that she’ll ever have any kind of feelings towards someone. Sakayanagi harbors some emotions for Ayanokoji in the Classroom of the Elite series.
This topic still needs to be covered in the anime. However, there has been sure foreshadowing that depicts her interest in Ayanokoji. She has been aware of Ayanokoji since he was in the White Room. With knowledge of his past, she is incredibly intrigued by his enigmatic character. She wants to understand how his mind works, so her feelings can be termed an obsession. However, there hasn’t been any confirmation of these feelings from the author themselves.
Sakayanagi was impressed by Ayanokoji’s performance in the sports festival. In the anime so far, it has been depicted that Sakayanagi considers him a rival. Even though it can’t be said that she loves/likes him, it is pretty clear that Sakayanagi has her eyes on our protagonist.
