Clovis Zoo opens education center

CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – There’s a new way for visitors to get an up-close experience with animals at Hillcrest Park Zoo in Clovis.

The zoo opened its education center on Friday. After transforming the gift shop, the area is now a place where visitors can learn about different reptiles and invertebrates they might not see every day, like bearded dragons, iguanas, tarantulas, and scorpions.
