The upcoming SBS K-drama Connection has announced its highly awaited release date. The series will premiere on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on the network. Led by popular stars like Ji-Sung, Jeon Mi-Do, and more, the drama will air every Friday and Saturday on SBS, replacing the ongoing series The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection. The storyline follows ace detective Jang Jae-Kyung (Ji-Sung), who uncovers the truth of an important case.
Connection promises an engaging story that will keep viewers on their toes. The series is a collaboration between director Kim Moon Kyo and screenwriter Lee Hyun. Other cast members of the upcoming SBS K-drama include Kwon Yul, Kim Kyung-Nam, and Jung Yoo Min.

The K-drama tells the story of ace detective Jang Jae-Kyung from the narcotics team, who solves an important case with the help of reporter Oh Yoon-Jin (Jeon Mi-Do).
Narcotics team detective Jae-Kyung has earned immense respect from his juniors and seniors in the police force. After being forcibly addicted to drugs, he uses his friend’s death to uncover a connection and improve a damaged friendship that lasted for two decades. He eventually crosses paths with social affairs reporter Oh Yoon-Jin, who helps him out several times. Meanwhile, viewers can look forward to an intense collaboration between the two as they uncover corruption connections in their hometown of Anhyun.
Kwon Yul plays prosecutor Park Tae-Jin of the Anhyeon District Prosecutors’ Office. Kim Kyung-Nam essays the role of Geumhyung Group Vice Chairman and villain Won Jong-Su. Lastly, Jung Soon-Won plays Heo Joo-Song, the friendly and cheerful CEO of TwoStar Holdings. The rest of the cast members haven’t been announced yet.
