Dark Sky Films has revealed the Faceless After Dark release date for Raymond Wood’s meta horror movie.

Following a premiere at last year’s Fright Fest in London, Faceless After Dark will head to select theaters and digital platforms on May 17, 2024.
Following her breakout role in a killer clown horror flick, Bowie now finds herself struggling to capitalize on its success, but when she is suddenly held hostage by an unhinged fan posing as that same killer clown, horror becomes her reality as she fights to survive the night and escape before he completes his sinister plan to recreate the film’s fatal plot.

The movie is written by Todd Jacobs and Jenna Kanell, who also stars in the film. Also starring are Danny Yang (NCIS Hawai’i), Danielle Lyn (Creepshow), Max Calder (Stranger Things), and Erin Day.
Director Raymond Wood previously made The Canadoo, where a group of five people join a reality show set in the wilderness only to get more than they bargained for. Then he went on to direct 1st Summoning, where four student filmmakers set out to explore an abandoned building famous for its connection with the occult, but as their journey becomes littered with strange behavior and unexplained phenomena, it becomes clear the horror they are attempting to document may already be lurking among them.
