A few months ago, reports emerged that Finn Balor’s contract was up after WWE WrestleMania 40. With WrestleMania 40 concluded and Balor losing his WWE tag team titles, he recently reflected on his ten years in WWE and shared a major update with fans about his future with WWE.
Fightful Select, behind the paywall, has disclosed that WWE anticipates Finn Balor signing a new long-term contract. Balor’s contract was nearing expiration in the coming months, indicating that an agreement is imminent. According to the report, WWE aimed to secure Balor with a multi-year deal and a big-money contract.
Additionally, the reports also indicate that there was a belief that Finn Balor would have garnered significant interest from other promotions, particularly AEW. AEW closely monitored his contract situation with WWE.
