Whoa! Now what do we have here? A giant celestial being? Animation fans need to keep an eye out for this online series called Mothership, the latest creation from the animation studio known as Nathan Love. There are now two teaser trailers online, following premieres at film festivals back in 2023. It’s mysteriously described as “a ridiculous space odyssey starting at the beginning of time itself (the Big Bang).” The story follows a creature known as the Starman. He is exiled to a planet where he accidentally creates life. “The Starman shapes and teaches these creatures, evolving them into human-esque forms. They worship him, he instructs them in the building of monuments and a civilization grows. With their help, the Starman is able to travel back to his galactic home. But was the creation he left behind a mistake?” These teasers reveal the humongous Starman creature in all of its glory and splendor, showing just how detailed every aspect of this animation looks.
