There might be some fans who are curious about the Itadori family tree in Jujutsu Kaisen. The anime hasn’t revealed much yet, but we recently learned more because of the manga’s latest chapters. Here is a guide on Jin Itadori and the Itadori family from Jujutsu Kaisen.

This guide will contain spoilers from chapter 257 of the manga.

Who is Jin Itadori?

Jin Itadori is the father of Yuji Itadori and son of Wasuke Itadori, Yuji’s grandfather. He is also the husband of Kaori Itadori, Yuji’s mom.

Jin has short hair and wears glasses. He looks very much like Yuji.

There is not much known about him since he was first revealed in chapter 143 during a flashback. The recent spoilers from chapter 257 reveal that Jin is the reincarnation of Sukuna’s dead twin. In the chapter, Sukuna explained to Uraume that he ate his twin in his mother’s womb. Somehow, his dead twin’s soul was reincarnated into Jin.

Is Yuji Itadori related to Sukuna?

The chapter 257 spoilers revealed that Yuji’s dad, Jin, is the reincarnation of Sukuna’s dead twin. This means that Yuji and Sukuna are related, with Sukuna being Yuji’s uncle.

Before it was confirmed that Jin was Sukuna’s twin, many of the fan theories claimed that Yuji and Sukuna were twins.

Stay tuned for more updates once more chapters are released.

Is Kenjaku Yuji’s mom?

Based on what we know from the story so far, Kenjaku took over Kaori’s body at some point in time. Aside from showing Jin, the flashback from chapter 143 also showed Kaori. She had stitches around her forehead, which is the story’s visual marker showing that Kenjaku possessed someone’s body. This means that Kenjaku is Yuji’s mom because, during this time, Kenjaku possessed Kaori Itadori’s body.

This is also why Choso and Yuji are also somewhat brothers. Their common parent is Kenjaku. Kenjaku possessed Noritoshi Kamo and created the Cursed Womb: Death Paintings, which is where Choso came from.
