ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – KRQE Cares is holding a phone bank on Thursday, April 4 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. KRQE Cares has a mission to positively impact children in low-income families throughout the state of New Mexico.
Shoes for Kids is the largest KRQE Cares initiative, which helps children in Title I receive a new pair of shoes. To help support Shoes for Kids you can donate online at any time or call during the phone bank at 1-877-715-7400.
Since 2015, over 29,000 pairs of shoes have been put on children in need. This program is in partnership with the Assistance League of ABQ, a non-profit 501c organization serving the Albuquerque area. All donations from our viewers and sponsors are directly given to the Assistance League of ABQ for the purchase of shoes and socks.
