The actor is currently filming his awaited movie Kubera. Regular updates on the movie have been coming out for a while now. In the latest update, the makers have confirmed an announcement soon, but fans think it might be its teaser’s release date.
Kubera has intrigued fans ever since its title was announced. The movie was earlier titled DNS, which stands for an acronym for Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Sekhar Kammula. The makers dropped Dhanush’s first glimpse along with the movie’s title. In the short clip, the actor looks like a beggar while watching a poster of Hindu Gods. As he turns to the camera, the grin on his face deepens the plot’s mystery.
The movie’s title is ironic, as Kubera is the richest Hindu god. However, Dhanush’s look denotes a different story.
When will Dhanush’s Kubera teaser release?
The makers of Kubera recently teased a major update via X (formerly Twitter). In the announcement, the movie’s team wrote, “SEIZED & LOADED for a MASSIVE thunderbolt. SEKHAR KAMMULA’S #KUBERA will be shaking up the HEATWAVE ERUPTION on May 2nd.”
The announcement was accompanied by another poster featuring cash stacked up and covered in plastic. Seeing the announcement, fans wonder if the makers will drop a teaser. Kubera marks the 51st movie of Dhanush’s career. The movie’s filming is underway in Mumbai, per the leaked pictures and videos. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady in the film.
On the work front, Dhanush will be next seen in Raayan. Besides playing the lead role, he also serves as the movie’s director. The actor has also signed the biopic of musical maestro Ilaiyaraaja.
