The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was investigating after a shooting involving a California Highway Patrol officer outside the Los Cerritos Center on Friday, April 5 ,that left one person dead, authorities said.
LASD responded to the shopping center at around 4 p.m. near the 200 block of Los Cerritos Center.
It’s unclear what transpired, but an unidentified suspect was transported to a hospital, where they died.
There is no other information available.
