Music Monday — What are you listening to? (Covers Edition)

Ya gotta love a good cover song! For those who haven’t heard the term, a cover song is when somebody remakes a song that was already created and released by someone else; you can read about cover versions here on Wikipedia. Notably, I’ve sometimes heard folks distinguish “cover versions” of songs from “tribute versions” by saying that a tribute tries to stay true to the original, but a cover regularly puts its own spin on the material. That said, I think all tribute songs are cover songs, but not all covers are tributes. Hope that makes sense! Anywho, whether it’s a tribute song that is a made to be a replica of the original, or a cover song that sounds almost entirely different, I wanna hear some covers!
