ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – New Mexico Young Actors is a children’s theater company that creates theater for youth by youth. The company presents its latest production, “Puss in Boots” features 15 cast members, all between the ages of nine and 19.
The production will spend the next week touring around Albuquerque to eight local elementary schools and host a performance for the public at the South Broadway Cultural Center on May 4. The production is set in Old Mexico and the audience can expect comedy, excitement, sword fighting and more. The public performance has two shows, at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults and 12$ for kids age 12 and under.
