Oak Brook residents invited to free pancake breakfast from fire and police departments

All Oak Brook residents are invited to a free pancake breakfast, presented by the police and fire departments, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 19 at the Oak Brook Fire Department Station 94, 1200 Oak Brook Road.

Parking is available at the adjacent Butler Government Center at the same address.

Along with free pancakes, the breakfast will include the following activities: A meet-and-greet with Sparky the Fire Dog and Pawficer Bandit, the police department’s comfort/therapy dog;
A hands-on experience with police cars and fire trucks, exploring the vehicles and learning about their features;
Guided tours of the police and fire stations;
Experience using a fire hose to put out a simulated fire, complete with safety instructions.

The event is open only to Oak Brook residents.
