Oblivion Battery cast, plot & more
The anime is based on Eko Mikawa’s manga of the same name. It follows the story of the prolific baseball duo Haruka, the genius pitcher, and Kei, the catcher. They were the strongest in the senior league, forcing many players and teams to retire. However, Kei loses his memory after an incident, forcing the duo to leave the baseball scene altogether.
Later, the dynamic duo is reunited as they both enroll at Kotesashi High, a prestigious school without a team. There, they reunite with some retired players from their senior league days and form a baseball team.
The main cast for Oblivion Battery includes Toshiki Masuda, who stars as Haruka Kiyomine, and Mamoru Miyano as Kei Kaname. Makoto Nakazonos will direct the anime at MAPPA. On the other hand, Mrs. Green Apple will perform the opening, “Lilac,” while Macaroni Enpitsu will perform the ending, “Wasurena Uta.”
