Things have got to change, things have got to evolve.” Netflix has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a documentary film titled Outstanding: A Comedy Revolution, directed by acclaimed filmmaker / producer Page Hurwitz. This was just announced to premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival this summer in their Spotlight section, before it debuts on Netflix streaming in June. The film is a feature documentary that explores the history of LGBTQ+ stand up comedy, examining & defining its importance as an instrument for social change over the past five decades.
