Police arrest suspected shoplifter accused of stealing over $50k worth of copper wire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police have arrested 47-year-old Brian Robinson, whom they suspect of stealing more than $50,000 worth of copper wiring. Police also accuse Robinson of damaging the Albuquerque Transit Center.

Detectives arrested Robinson after they conducted surveillance on him and watched him enter and exit a Lowes store. Alongside Robinson, detectives also took 26-year-old Emma Brown into custody.


Bernalillo County looking for volunteers to help clean up needles and syringes

Firefighters recognized the truck the Robinson and Brown had driven to Lowes as one that was involved in a previous metal theft, the Albuquerque Police Department says. Officers used force to arrest both suspects.
