ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Police have arrested 47-year-old Brian Robinson, whom they suspect of stealing more than $50,000 worth of copper wiring. Police also accuse Robinson of damaging the Albuquerque Transit Center.
Detectives arrested Robinson after they conducted surveillance on him and watched him enter and exit a Lowes store. Alongside Robinson, detectives also took 26-year-old Emma Brown into custody.
Firefighters recognized the truck the Robinson and Brown had driven to Lowes as one that was involved in a previous metal theft, the Albuquerque Police Department says. Officers used force to arrest both suspects.
