As reported in Xsports News, Moon Tae-Yu talked about his co-star Kim Soo-Hyun in X Interview. He said, “90% of my scenes are with Kim Soo-Hyun, so it was difficult to get the tone right. I was most concerned about coordinating that part.”

He further added, “I think I met my partner very well. Everyone was praising me, but as expected, it was difficult on set.”

Praising Soo-Hyun, Moon Tae-Yu shared, “He didn’t show his dark side or his sensitive side.” Further explaining his character’s importance to Baek Hyun-Woo, he said, “I felt it more after watching the broadcast. The work is a series of really difficult scenes, and isn’t it all just the narrative of Baek Hyun-Woo and Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won)? Yang-Gi is a part of Baek Hyun-Woo’s narrative, and he had a hard time at least once during filming for almost a year. He could be sensitive, but he didn’t do that for once, and I thought it was really amazing.”

Moon Tae-Yu has showcased his talent as an actor by showing the sensitivity of Yang-Gi’s character along with the touch of comic timing.

Queen of Tears is now streaming on Netflix.
