RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – Outdoor watering restrictions are back in effect in Rio Rancho. Starting Monday, residents can only water from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m.
Violators will get a warning on the first offense but will be fined after that. There are exceptions in place for methods like hand-watering, drip irrigation, and low-emitting bubblers. The restrictions last until October 31.
