Chase Lockwood allows just an unearned run in six innings as the Wildcats top Mundelein on Tuesday to earn a series split and tie for first in the North Suburban Conference.

2. Mundelein 15-6 (2) 

Johnny Weiss goes 5-for-8 in the Mustangs’ two games against Libertyville.

3. Stevenson 17-8 (3)

Matteo Nolasco and Aidan Crawley fuel the Patriots’ NSC series sweep of Zion-Benton.

Cal Hanson gets the win and Jacob Redker picks up his third save as the Rams rally to beat Lakes in a Northern Lake County Conference game Wednesday.

6. Wauconda 15-8 (4) 

Zac Johnson homers twice against Prairie Ridge as the Bulldogs hit six home runs during a three-game stretch to increase their season total to 19.

7. Highland Park 15-9 (6) 

Shamar Wilson, Nicholas Blumer and Michael Pasquesi combine for six hits and five RBIs in the Giants’ Central Suburban North win against Vernon Hills on Tuesday.

8. Lake Zurich 12-9 (9) 

Owen Strahl homers twice and drives in seven runs as he and Cash Kaczmarek combine to go 10-for-17 in two NSC wins against Lake Forest.

9. Grayslake North 13-9 (10)  

Ethan Feldman homers twice in one game and Cody Rakoncay is perfect into the seventh inning of another as the Knights win two against Round Lake in NLCC action.

10. Grant 13-9 (NR)

Adrian Medina drives in four runs during an NLCC victory against Wauconda as Grant wins four in a row.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Senior first baseman Derek Lucier goes 10-for-12 with two doubles, a triple and seven RBIs in Lakes’ consecutive wins against St. Viator, Lake Forest and Grayslake Central.
