The Rock has sent a message to popular YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul after their backstage meeting at WWE WrestleMania 40. The Rock, who had kind words for Jake Paul, was there to support brother Logan Paul, who was also in action at WrestleMania 40.
Logan Paul defended his WWE United States Championship in a triple-threat match against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. Paul managed to retain his title with the assistance of popular YouTuber IShowSpeed.
The Rock, who made his in-ring return to WWE after a decade, won his match on night one of WrestleMania 40. WrestleMania is known for its grand spectacle, where fans get to see a lot of surprises and celebrities in the show. At WrestleMania 40, The Rock encountered Jake Paul, who was there to show his support for his brother.
The Rock took to Instagram to share a photo of him meeting Jake Paul backstage. The Great One wrote that he had a casual chat with Paul and sent good luck wishes for his Mike Tyson boxing match.
In recent years, Jake Paul has ventured into the boxing world. Now, he is set to face the living legend of the boxing world this July when he takes on Mike Tyson in a match scheduled to be shown on Netflix on July 20, 2024.
Corey Graves predicts Jake Paul’s imminent arrival in WWE
WWE SmackDown commentator Corey Graves believes that Jake Paul will be coming to WWE in the future. Paul is making waves in the boxing world. He also made an appearance in WWE back in 2022.
Speaking on The Gunz Show, Corey Graves discussed Jake Paul’s potential arrival in WWE. He indicated that it could happen sooner rather than later.
He stated, “If I’m being totally honest, I would start counting down the minutes before Jake shows up. I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon with the Tyson fight looming, but on a long enough timeline, we have to have the Paul brothers competing in the tag division at least once or twice. It just dawned on me that SummerSlam is in Cleveland this year. That’s where the Paul brothers hail from. I’m just saying. I don’t know anything; I’m just theorizing and putting it out into the universe. Maybe Jake Paul will be in WWE sooner rather than later.”
With WWE hosting this year’s SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio, Jake Paul’s home state. It will be interesting to see whether he makes an appearance in WWE at the event.
