Cele două echipe erau la egalitate la 19 când meciul a intrat în prelungiri, dar în ultimele secunde Chiefs au reușit un eseu câștigător, ducând scorul final la 25-22. A fost al 7-lea cel mai lung meci din istoria National Football League (NFL).
