A male victim was discovered lying in the street overnight with fatal head trauma in the Englewood neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 12:45 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a call of an unresponsive male lying in the street in the 6600 block of South Green Street. Officers found a victim who had suffered head trauma, and took him to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead a short time later, police said.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the victims fatal injuries.
