Whisper Me a Love Song episode 2 recap: Yori and Himari Kino go on a date
Whisper Me a Love Song episode 2, “Love, a Date, And…,” begins with Yori singing for Himari Kino on the rooftop, as they had previously planned. However, their upcoming tryst is obstructed due to rain, which concerns Kino. Hence, she visits Yori in her classroom where Aki suggests that the two should exchange numbers.
Later, Yori sings for Kino in the former’s classroom due to rain, after which the latter asks if she likes cats. Yori expresses that she does like cats, which leads Kino to ask her to hang out on Sunday. A nervous Yori agrees, only to find out later that Kino intends the casual hangout to be a date.
Aki also asks Yori to hang out with her on Sunday, but the latter considering refusing due to her plans with Kino. Although this seems to bother Aki, the episode does not reveal what is on Aki’s mind. Later, Kino and Yori meet up and have fun together. Moreover, Kino requests Yori to join SSGIRLS, which compels the singer to consider the option. While Kino is about to leave, Yori grabs her arm to stop her and confesses that she likes her. Naturally, this takes Kino by surprise, and she is unable to answer then.
