As of April 2024, Liden Films has not greenlit the second season of the anime. It’s safe to speculate that the anime studio will assess the performance of season 1 before making any decision about the future. The project originated as a web novel series, and both it and its light novel adaptation are currently ongoing. So, even if by the end of season 1, the anime covers all seven volumes of the light novels that are currently available, season 2 can happen down the line.

Gods’ Games We Play features the voices of Akari Kito as Leoleshea and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Fay. The voice cast also includes Hina Tachibana as Pearl Diamond, Kanna Nakamura as Nel Reckless, and Ami Koshimizu as Miranda.
