WWE superstar Drew McIntyre, who recently lost his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, is set to take time off. McIntyre, who demonstrated incredible growth in his character, gained more fans through his feud with CM Punk. This was evident in his increased merchandise sales and activity on social media.
McIntyre’s triumph over Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 40 to capture the world title in front of fans was short-lived. The duration of his absence from WWE programming is unknown, but the report indicates that he will not return immediately. However, McIntyre has earned a great deal of respect backstage for working through the UK tour despite being injured.

The Great One posted a video on his Instagram account in which he presented McIntyre with a sword to celebrate the renewal of his contract.
With McIntyre finally re-signing with WWE, fans are eagerly anticipating CM Punk’s return. Both stars are involved in a heated rivalry for past few months. There is high speculation that Punk’s first feud following his return will be against McIntyre.
