Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently appeared on the popular television show The Great Indian Kapil Show. In a candid conversation, he opened up about his challenges while shooting a memorable scene from PK. The actor gives the audience a behind-the-scenes look at his difficulties during the scene where his character is forced to run naked through a deserted land.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, PK is celebrated for its daring content and innovative storytelling. Recounting the experience, Khan revealed that he was genuinely nude while filming, despite initial plans to wear specially designed shorts.

“Till the time I was walking, it was okay, but when I had to run, the shorts would come off because it was fixed by tape. I faced a lot of difficulty in that shot. I had to run fast, but I couldn’t.” Khan explained on the show. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, the actor decided to discard the makeshift shorts altogether. “After one or two attempts, I told Raju, ‘Hatta yaar (Let’s remove it).’ I wanted to give the perfect shot. So, I chucked it aside. I told everyone to go far behind the camera, and I ran,” – said Khan.
Despite the logistical hurdles, Khan’s commitment to authenticity drove him to perform the scene without any cover, ensuring the crew maintained a considerable distance to provide him with some privacy. “I used to think that it would be really weird to walk naked on the set. We are not used to it. I used to feel anxious about how I would do it,” Khan admitted.
The actor also expressed his initial fear about performing the scene. However, his professionalism shone through as he focused on the role’s demands over personal embarrassment.
